- Election to almost every position on the New Jersey Nursing Students (NJNS) Board over the years (including 3x President)

Who is eligible to join?
All of the students mentioned below are eligible for membership in our organization provided they are a matriculated Rutgers student and are enrolled in one of the School of Nursing's degree programs on any of the three campuses (New Brunswick, Newark, Blackwood)
- Undergraduate students
- Students enrolled in the accelerated program
- Registered nurses enrolled in programs leading to a baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing
- Pre-nursing students actively following the nursing curriculum
when is the deadline to join?
There is no deadline to join as a general member. However, if you wish to run for office for our next year E-board, you must join by the time elections are occurring which occurs every school year in the latter half of the spring semester.

Is there a fee to join?
Yes, you must pay a membership fee every year you wish to remain part of our organization. For New Jersey the membership fee is $40 for one year or $80 for two years. Rutgers is able to reimburse a portion of the cost for you, although the specific amount will vary from year to year depending on how many students wish to be a part of the organization.
