66th Annual NJNS Convention (March 1-2, 2018)
Just a friendly report about all the exciting things that happened at the 2018 NJNS convention! From Wednesday to Friday, several Rutgers RSNA members travelled to Atlantic City to represent the SON as monitors and delegates. We got to hear from some very inspirational speakers in the field ranging from the image of nursing to helpful tips about pharm/med-surg . Our students also had the opportunity to make connections with representatives from graduate schools and healthcare organizations as well as with other fellow nursing students from across NJ. It was an impactful and memorable experience and RSNA would like to thank the NJNS staff and speakers for their efforts. We hope that our members who could not join us are able to do so next year!!

Project Red Laces (February 2018)
Happy Heart Health Awareness month! This February, RSNA is selling red laces for ONLY $3 a pair to help raise money for the American Heart Association. If you would like to be a part of this initiative to bring awareness to heart health, please consider purchasing a pair either through our treasurer on Venmo (@ara-kim) or directly from one of our executive board members. We will be selling them at all three campuses in person for the rest of the month. Feel free to message us so we can connect you to the exec board member on your campus!
Please remember what an important part of nursing education is. You could save a life! |
Fall Bake Sale (October 18th, 2017)
This week we hosted a bake sale at the Yard just in time to lift your spirits during midterms! We had an assortment of good ranging from pumpkin cupcakes to cinnamon donuts. And of course we had tons of cookies to remind you of the smart cookies that you are! All of the proceeds will be used in funding for the upcoming 2018 NJNS Convention so we can send more of our members. Thank you for all who came out today to show their support during this lovely weather!
